Are you a writer? Do you have something written that desperately needs attention? By attention, of course, I mean some much needed editing to correct all those niggling spelling, grammar and punctuation issues.

tanyanatalie

I’d like for you to meet Tanya! She is a freelance editor/proofreader from Sydney, AU with the hopes of editing anything that you have written.

Tanya attended college at Sydney University and graduated with her BA in English Literature. She also attended Macleay College and received a Diploma of Book Editing and Publishing with High Distinctions. From there, Tanya took on an internship at Harlequin Enterprises, a major publishing company in North Sydney. Now, she runs a secondhand bookshop in Hornsby called The Book Plate Bookshop. It is there that she works on her editing projects.

A word from Tanya about what she does:

“Owning a bookshop is a dream
situation, however, second-hand
books aren’t as much in demand as
they used to be …
Fortunately, I love editing just as much
as I love books and reading, and being
able to edit while working in the
bookshop is my ideal situation.
Editing isn’t just something I know – I
love it! I have probably never yet read
a book in which I haven’t spotted
many mistakes, and I have read a lot of
books!”

Tanya has over ten years of experience in editing many different forms of writing. Including, books of all genres, websites, blogs, essays, and articles.
Check out SOME of the books she has edited:
