(in)courage Devotional Bible Giveaway

If you know me, you know that I love Bibles. I love any kind of Bible that speaks the truth. I especially love Bibles that are pretty.

The (in)courage Devotional Bible is one of the most beautiful Bibles I’ve ever seen. I was mesmerized the moment I laid eyes on it. The color and material of the cover are perfect.

And as you open the Bible, it’s hard not to marvel at the beautiful pages and designs on the pages.

I was given this Bible in exchange for an honest review and I am so thankful to Frontgate Media for this opportunity.

Here’s a short synopsis on the (in)courage Devotional Bible:

“The CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible invites every woman to find her story within the greatest story ever told—God’s story of redemption.

As you study God’s Word, 122 women from the (in)courage community come alongside you with 312 devotions, sharing stories of how God’s story has changed their lives. Because of His grace, they have found beauty in the brokenness and hope in the hard. With each devotion, they sing the praise of the One who has authored their story.”

More Features include:

These profiles highlight fifty women in the Bible, explaining how God showed his love in each women’s life.

Through the (in)courage Devotional Bible, you’ll find 52 reflective devotions. Designed to help you begin each week in God’s Word, these devotions anchor the themed reading plans and include reflection questions and journaling space. Every devotion has been written by someone who has walked through the topic she addresses—from adoption to cancer to missions work—and met God’s love in the midst of it.

Introductions to each book of the Bible help us see what context this book comes from, how it fits into the story of the Bible, and how it connects to our daily lives.

Throughout the Bible, twenty verses have been highlighted with beautiful designs to help you meditate on and memorize the truth of God’s Word.

Engage with each page of Scripture inlined journaling spaces provided for personal notes and reflection.

Reading for myself…

As soon as I found the Reading Plans that include devotions, I was ecstatic! I am currently reading through the reading plan titled, “Beautiful Brokenness”. So far, it has shown me that there is hope for those of us who are going through a tough time by giving me verses with examples of people who have gone through tough times and have made it through beautifully.

I was reading my devotion for today and it fit perfectly with a situation that I know a lot of people are experiencing. We had a hurricane hit close to home and it destroyed everything in a place where some of our family and friends live. You might know that hurricane as Hurricane Michael. The title of today’s reading was “When You Can’t Make Sense of Devastation” and the Bible verse included was 2 Kings 25. It helped encourage me and I was able to pass it along and encourage others through this time of devastation.

Did I mention that it looks great next to my She Reads Truth Bible on my shelf? Though, I don’t think this Bible will spend much time on the shelf. Having a reading plan that gives me devotions to read that I can relate to, helps me be excited about my devotion time with God. Sometimes that’s hard because we’re human. Having that excitement and thirst for more about devotions with God is a great feeling.

I highly recommend this Bible to all women out there who have a hard time digging into God’s word and finding devotionals that are hard to relate to! This is a Bible that you will be able to read and relate to through God’s grace.
